The PROFAB Group is seeking a candidate who will bring their unique contribution to the Accounting Technician position at our Saint‑Apollinaire office.

Accounting Technician
Accounting technician | St‑Apollinaire | Full‑time contract (39 hours) | Monday to Friday
As an Accounting Technician, you will be able to showcase your skills in accounting, analysis, and team support.
More specifically, you will:

Validating, coding, and recording supplier invoices in the accounting system;<

Preparing and processing weekly payments;

Monitoring daily accounting operations (payroll, accounts receivable, coordination with various departments);

Performing bank reconciliations and analyzing discrepancies;

Actively participating in the month‑end closing process (journal entries, amortization, adjustments);

Preparing government reports (taxes, payroll deductions, installment payments);

Participating in the preparation of the annual audit file;

Performing any other related tasks.
Required Experience and Qualifications:

DEC or DEP in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent

Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP accounting software, and document management systems is an asset

Strong learning and adaptability skills

Rigorous, organized, and versatile

Attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and resourcefulness

Intermediate level of English
