Maintenance Worker/Electromechanical Technician | Full time (40h week) | Monday to Friday noon | Possible overtime

As a Maintenance Worker/Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment at the plant.

More specifically, you will be required to:

Ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment (motors, electrical systems, machines, pneumatic tools, etc.);<
Maintain and inspect the grounds and buildings;
Perform basic maintenance and inspection of vehicles and forklifts;
Intervene during production stops to minimize downtime;
Install new equipment and ensure its commissioning;
Participate in the assembly, wiring, and implementation of electrical and mechanical devices;
Collaborate with production teams to optimize the performance of installations;
Follow safety protocols and ensure their compliance in all interventions;
Write intervention reports and follow up on the work carried out;
Propose continuous improvements for the optimization of equipment and maintenance processes.

The experiences and qualifications sought:

Training in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or a similar field;
2 to 5 years of relevant experience as an electromechanical technician;
Experience in an industrial environment (an asset);
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems;
Proficiency in diagnostic and troubleshooting tools (multimeter, cable analyzer, etc.);
Experience in welding;
Ability to work independently while being an integral member of the team;
Rigor, sense of organization, and ability to work under pressure;
Respect for safety standards and good knowledge of industrial hygiene rules;
Availability to work staggered hours or in a team (depending on production needs).
